Samsen Street Hotel

I am very disappointed with my experience. Before booking, I specifically contacted the hotel regarding my certified service dog, who assists me with monitoring my medical condition. I was initially told that the hotel would be happy to accommodate us and was asked to send the relevant documentation by email. After sending all documents, I received no response for three days. Only then was I informed that the hotel could not accommodate me and my service dog due to a lack of suitable conditions. What is particularly frustrating is that this information should have been provided from the beginning, before I made plans based on the hotel’s initial confirmation. My dog is professionally trained, calm, people-oriented, hypoallergenic, and certified to work in public environments. I was also prepared to accept responsibility for any potential damage, although this has never been an issue. The refusal itself is disappointing, but the lack of clear communication and the delayed response left me feeling misled and placed in a very difficult situation. We live in the 21st century, and I sincerely hope the hotel will reconsider its policy toward certified service dogs in the future. After reviewing all of the documentation proving my dog’s training and medical support role, I expected more understanding and a more inclusive approach.
