Oakwood Residence Sukhumvit Thonglor Bangkok

1. When I dropped off my 83 years old mom and my younger brother late night, your staff sat there kept watching us handling our luggage and getting mom off the car without any hesitation to do the "service, assist, or help". Fine. We can do our own and moment later when one of your staff walked out from the inside to greet and welcome us inside we were done what had to do. Frist impression was bad that night and un-comparable to our earlier visit at the Oakwood Residence Sukhumvit ThongLor. 2. I paid for “one-bedroom premier apartment” via agoda.com and requested “twins” bed via agoda app. And we found out that it was a single bed not twin. What surprise me was your staff that night (around 10.00 pm.) told me that I booked “one-bedroom premier”!!! I told him that yes “one-bedroom” is a room type but I also requested for “twin beds”. I wonder why he confused the basic English and hotel terms between “room” & “bed”. Not only this but he expressed bad service attributes eg. Wording, facial expression, and non verbal like sigh which I am sure that this is not “service standard” of the Oakwood! To let you know that my mom comes to Bangkok to do her dental treatment often over the past year and we almost always stayed at “the Centre Point ThongLor” near where I live and we never ever experience this kind of confusion there. We chose to stay with you just because it was full at the Centre Point ThongLor! So I had to fight for my right and you know what? Your staff fought me back!!! That was unpleasant at all to let thing happened like that late night while mom and my brother need to rest after a long journey that day. Finally he put us at your “2 bedroom” one not request by us. We need just twin beds for mom and my brother. But thank you for the upgrade. 3. Your carpet was bad reflecting poor maintain the cleanliness and hygiene both at the earlier and the 4th floors. We may have to re-visit you again if that Centre Point ThongLor is full and easy for me to travel back and forth from my place so it is the reason why I feedback here. Hope to see improvement on work procedures adherence, professional service standard compliance, facility hygiene and standard. thank you
