NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard

It's been a week and I'm glad that I chose this property. Upon arrival, the room was just okay (there were a few soil spots on both chairs, a little smashed bug on the mirror, and something on the toilet, so I decided to bring this to the attention of the front desk. The manager immediately accommodated me by changing rooms. I really appreciated the swift change, which was better. The king bedroom was spacious and nice for a 4 star and could easily bump to a 5 star property with a few suggestions. This property was in a great location. A few blocks (walking distance) to Terminal 21 Mall, there are other hotels, shops, and restaurants in the area including walking distance to MRT and BTS. I was able to jump on the MRT train to visit temples and other sights. I enjoyed in-room massages. I did halt one of the massages because the lady was sick and needed to blow her nose (she also answered her phone during my session). Besides that isolated incident, the messages were great. The room service was quick and good! I used room service daily. With one incident of one particular servicer never removed her shoes before walking into the room (after 3 visits), unlike all other servers who removed their shoes in the hall. I didn't understand that, but I didn't take her actions personally. The hotel food was delicious including the breakfast buffet (including ready-made omelets). The front desk staff was nice and helpful. They even offered a large umbrella on rainy days. I will definitely come back and recommend others. I am a solo traveler and felt very safe in my room and in the area. I am packed up to catch my flight back to the States, but I do not want to go yet. This was an overall great experience as a first-timer in Bangkok. Hotels can make or break an experience.
