Definitely holds its weight as one of the cheapest Marriott Hotel in Bangkok. Nice vibes, dark in the lobby but in a charming way. Good sized room, and clean, even with washer drier. Some parts can be improved, like the hard sliding cabinets- but I guess it retains its old charms. Comfy beds and pillows - I'm also not as affected by the noise from road as some reviewers mentioned. River taxi just a short walk is useful - bypasses the traffic to some destinations. Friendly staff as well. Titanium gets you an ala carte breakfast - could also be better but sure works.
