Hotel Royal Bangkok

If you're looking for a hotel in the heart of Chinatown, this is an excellent choice. The location is unbeatable, right in the middle of Yaowarat, with countless restaurants, street food stalls, and a 7-Eleven just outside the entrance. Our main requirements were simple: a decent gym, a decent pool, and easy access to the MRT. This hotel delivered on all three. We were initially concerned that staying in such a busy area would mean noisy nights, but the rooms were surprisingly well soundproofed. We slept very well throughout our stay. The hotel seems to be especially popular with Chinese tourists, giving it a lively atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. We used the gym several times and were happy with it overall. The only downside is that one of the adjustable weight benches is broken and should really be replaced by management. The elevators were a bit slow, but that was only a minor inconvenience. Although we never used the pool, it didn't feel particularly inviting, and we spent most of our time exploring the city anyway. Housekeeping was excellent, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the beds were firm and comfortable, exactly how we like them. One thing to keep in mind is transportation. Because the hotel is located right in the middle of Yaowarat, getting a taxi can be frustrating due to the heavy traffic. Instead, we highly recommend using the MRT station, which is only about a five-minute walk away. Considering the price, location, and facilities, this hotel offers outstanding value for money. We would happily stay here again for several nights and have no hesitation recommending it to anyone visiting Bangkok.
